Meet Mrs Eggerton

image counter

I had my first play with felt today and created "Mrs Eggerton", I highly recommend playing with felt, it was great and a good break from paperarts...for a minute or two lol
I also made more of my "winter" theme ATCs for APC offline trader swap.
The tag is my submission to this weeks Wednesday Stamper http://wednesdaystamper.wordpress.com/ the theme is "HATS", if Mandy likes it though I'll be sending it her way :)
The little box is actually one of the altered matchboxes I have made for my Yahoo group swap

Call me Bubbles

I have had this little image of the "ample figured dancer" for a while and finally decided to use her, she has been glammed up and given wings and I think she looks fab on the fusible film BG.

What was once old....

image counter

is still old but much better looking now...I went to the markets with a friend of mine a couple of weeks ago and found these two interesting items, they were both pretty rusted looking but now they have a new lease on life, I'm going to use the embossed plate on my new ATC folder...I don't know what the rod has come from but I really loved all of the detail on it. Their metal makeover was done with tubes of patina and gold leaf Rub n' Buff

Playtime with Scrappin' Bug

image counter

Here are my first samples playing with some of the stamps I designed for Scrappin' Bug, now I must tell you I don't often clean my poly. stamps but when I do and they are real grubby (usually Stazon) I do use the slightest smear of eucalyptus oil on a soft cloth, I'm not suggesting ya all do this but so far I have had no damage...but ya just never know, so if you have a reliable polymer/gel stamp cleaner...stick with it....if I happen to kill one of my own stamps I'll post a pic and a sob story and you can all say "I told ya so" :)

PaperArtsy Weekend...with a new camera

This week a few PaperArtsy plates came and I thought the weekend would be the perfect time to play and create for my PA Design Team submissions :)

things to do instead of housework

image counter

it was too cold to go outside and I couldn't be bothered doing housework, so while the kiddies ran around and played I decided to alter my torso on the stand...I love it but think it is still not quite finished...any ideas are welcome :)

I love to play :)

today I had a chance to make my contribution to this weeks challenge for Wednesday Stamper. The theme is flowers and at first I thought I'd do a card or tag but then I decided to have a play with one of the small paper mache torsos I have, I am really pleased with how well it turned out and infact I have decided to send it on to somebody for her Birthday this month.

I also got the inches done for Zuzus group

Catching up

image counter

well atleast trying to...I seem to have trouble turning down challenges and swaps and quite often forget what I am signed up for, so I spent the better half of the day making a really good effort at catching up....I did 2 ATC for a Davinci swap, 2 ATC for a tiny tag swap, 7 ATC for a brads and eyelets swap, a 2x2 (4 card) ATC set for a swap and 37 background ATCs...then realised I was doing the wrong theme...so if anybody likes the look of my moonshadow glow BGs please email me and I'll post ya some :)
....and yes that is my work station...the kitchen table is under there somewhere :)
